1860

Jacques didisheim founded Juvenia in the small Swiss town of St. Imier, before shortly moving to La Chaux-de-Fonds.

1900

Juvenia releases its innovative, trendy and artistic pocket watches during the peak period for pocket watches.

1914

At the Swiss National exhibition, Juvenia displayed the smallest movement manufactured at the time, measuring 9.5mm in diameter and 2.5mm thick.

1920

Inspired by fantasies, Juvenia created a variety of creative watches such as ring, pendant, and even buttonhole watches with trendy design.

1926

Juvenia also offered an impressive number of gift articles including elegantly designed clocks.

1933

Juvenia launches its highly artistic and creative Art deco watches and clocks sold by order.

1936

Attaining a trendsetter's reputation, Juvenia releases a watch with cut off corners that was revolutionary in design.

1947

Juvenia launches its revered collection "the mystère".

1950

In 1950, Juvenia launched its second successful international campaign: "Elegance et Precision depuis 1860".

1961

Juvenia launches a number of Gold Coin watches utilizing a US$10 gold coin for ladies and a US$20 gold coin for men.

1969

Juvenia introduced a "Milanais" watch where the woven-designed bracelet was welded into the elliptical case.

1983

1983 saw the launchof the highly successful Taiga line of watches.

1993

Juvenia adopted its new logo.

Juvenia launches its new collection "spécialités" - symbolic of its supreme craftmanship and artistry.

1880

Juvenia becomes one of the first manufacturers to offer a ladies wristwatch.

1908

Juvenia began to manufacture its own movement blanks and produced its first series of extra flat movements, primarily for wristwatches.

1919

The ground-breaking combination of ovals and lozenges gave birth to an avant-garde design of Juvenia watches.

1925

The very striking design of Juvenia watches won the company a Master Prize at the 1925 Decorative Arts Grand Prix in Paris.

1928

Juvenia launches its successful "Juvenia Sport" collection.

1934

Spurred by a greater appreciation of lugs and strap attachements, Juvenia produces an array of fascinating watches that inspire the latest trends.

1945

Juvenia invented the Arithmo - the first calculator watch. A prism enabled the results of arithmetical calculations to be read at 12 o'clock.

1948

After a period of angular design, Juvenia took the lead to bring the world of watch design back to the soft lines by its remarkable product: "Atlantide".

1955

Juvenia launches the juvenia Slim.

1968

Juvenia releases flowing gold watches with subtle enamel covers for the 1968 Geneva Watches and Jewellery exhibition that are original and artistic design.

1982

1982 saw the introduction of the "Number One" line of watches.

1989

Juvenia opened is new headquarters at 34 Av. Charles-Naine, La Chaux-de-Fonds.

1993

Juvenia introduced its highly successful Golden Age sports and Classique line of watches.

2005

With "perfection" in mind, Juvenia launches its new advertising campaign: "Divine Inspiration".
